Welcome everyone! This page and sub-pages are meant to be helpful information for those of you starting out in the world of Home Studio Recording. I have only been recording at home since January of 2005, so there are a lot of people out there much more advanced than I am when it comes to experience.

First of all, I want to say that I offer these tips and hints freely, but please keep in mind that I am a family man and I cannot possibly give personal attention to everyone. If you want advice, my best advice will come in the form of responding in the forums. Cakewalk's user forum is where you'll find me the most, but I also frequent the Digifreq forums and the Christian Song Writer's forums. If the advice you seek won't fit in one of those forums, then email me, otherwise, I will ask you to please keep your questions public so that all may benefit from the questions and answers and you can do that by posting in the forums I mentioned. Besides...I'm won't always have your answers and in the public forum, someone else might have a better answer than I do!

Secondly, if there's anything that you'd like to see as a tip here, please send it to me and I'll be glad to consider posting it.
